Mana Wellness in Chelmsford is seeking a personal trainer, massage therapist, physical therapy assistant, yoga/dance/Pilates instructors, chiropractic assistant or other health & wellness related personnel to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a local wellness center inspiring people to adopt healthy habits for real life. 

We incorporate advanced technology and mindfulness programs that encourage people to improve their lifestyle, shift their mindset and eat healthier while enjoying the foods they love. We work one-on-one with each client to create programs unique to them. Each customized program draws on our founder’s personal life as an athlete and cancer survivor, her successful career in healthcare and life-coaching combined with her comprehensive experience in energy healing.

Location: Summer Street, Chelmsford, MA  

Position:  This is a part-time to full-time position, requiring some weekend (Saturday) availability

Role Overview:

As a Health and Wellness Coach you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of our Red Light Therapy* by “wrapping” our clients while helping them to feel safe, secure and welcome.  You will also help support our clients’ health and wellness goals by recommending the appropriate Mana protocols, products and services. You will bring your passion for working with people and your personal drive and energy to help ensure the best client experience.     

* Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna, PEMF, Detoxing Footbath Training provided

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver An Exceptional Client Experience by:

• Ensuring clients feel seen, heard and supported - with purpose, encouraging clients to reflect, learn, problem-solve and create action plans, welcoming new clients.
• Engaging with clients empathetically, demonstrating positive regard, respect and understanding for where they are on their journey.
• Sharing knowledge and understanding of Mana’s advanced technology and services.

Deliver Behavior Change by:

• Guiding clients to develop awareness of their eating, activity, sleep and mindset patterns
• Assisting clients in identifying small behavioral shifts to move them closer to their goals
• Coaching clients on scientifically proven behavior change strategies and how to better leverage their internal resources and external support to reach their wellness goals
• Using behavior change techniques and serving as an expert in Mana’s approach for building healthy habits, weight loss and holistic wellness

Specific Responsibilities:

• Client Relationships 
  • New Client Evaluations & Wellness Coaching Sessions
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Emailing and Texting Clients
  • New Leads / Client Calls
  • Cancellations/No Show Follow-Up
• Admin Tasks
  • Data Entry - lead info, client journey details etc.
  • Track client package visits and update accordingly
  • Cleaning and maintenance of Mana’s equipment and space
  • Follow opening and closing guidelines to be sure clinic is sparkling

We want to hear from you if you are:

• A college graduate or have equivalent coaching certification in healthcare, wellness, spa or gym settings preferred
• Prior experience with facilitation/coaching others in a health and wellness center gets bonus
• Comfortable with physical touch and having discrete conversations with our clients' about their body and health challenges
• Genuinely committed to supporting and inspiring others in achieving their health goals
• Empathetic and excited about building rapport and relationships with our clients
• Place a high value on encouraging sustainable, science-backed approaches to wellness
• Excellent at active listening and able to connect clients to Mana’s products and services
• Experience using Google & Office product suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Self-starter who is excited to learn and take ownership for responsibilities
• Interested in a flexible, part-time schedule
• Able to lift 25 pounds to stock shelves with sellable consumer products
